Hey, my name is Daniel Steven Gonzalez and I play Antonio in Death in Texas. Alejandro is a parole board member that we see in the very opening scene of the movie. I feel really lucky to have been offered this movie. My friend, Ronnie Blevins, with who we have worked together in the past, gave me a call. I was actually at my second job when he called and offered me this part, and I thought it was a great little part in a great movie with some really great actors, and a great director, Scott Windhauser.
When you look at the list of the cast, aside from Ronnie Blevins, who’s an amazing actor, and you see names like Bruce Dern, Lara Flynn Boyle, Stephen Lang, who’s one of my favorite actors, John Ashton, who I grew up with, you know, really gets you excited about a project. And then when you get on set and you meet everybody, and everybody’s so welcoming, and kind and real sense of family on that set. It makes it really easy as an actor to really get into your role, and really happy to have been a part of this movie. I’ve seen the trailer. It looks amazing. I’m really excited to see Death in Texas, just like I’m sure you are.
